Materials feel considered
Wood, metal and acrylic rather than one moulding pretending to be three things. It has some heft and the acrylic has not scratched.

In the evening, you set down both watches. In the morning, they are on time and ready, and you had nothing to reset.
The Camden looks after them all night, with a care most winders lack: anti-magnetic shielding between the motor and your movements, so they stay precise.
Japanese Mabuchi motor, 850 turns a day, four programmes to choose from. Mains, USB-C or batteries: place it wherever you like, even far from a socket. Wood, metal and acrylic, in rosewood, black lacquer or walnut, with removable cushions that take wide bracelets.
For two watches that deserve to be treated as they should be.
Wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth. No solvents and no leather feed — both do more harm than good on a coated finish. For the interior, lift the cushions out and use a soft brush rather than compressed air, which drives dust deeper into the lining. Nothing inside needs lubricating.
Two years on parts and labour from the day it arrives. Motor faults are replaced, not repaired at your cost. Cushions and adaptors are sold separately, so a worn part does not retire the whole unit.
30-day returns, gift-boxed as standard. Mon–Fri, 9–5, a person answers. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
Where it shows

It ends up on the chest of drawers, not back in the box it arrived in.
Wood, metal and acrylic rather than one moulding pretending to be three things. It has some heft and the acrylic has not scratched.
I work two feet from it. I notice it about once a fortnight, usually because I have gone looking for the sound.
The mains lead does the job but there is not much slack in it, so where you put the unit is partly decided by the socket unless you use the batteries. Which I now do.
Enough to match either watch properly, not so many that setting it becomes a project. Took about two minutes.
Every winder has a motor and every motor puts out a field. Most listings say nothing at all about it. This one names the shielding and after a year both watches are still running within a couple of seconds a day, which is all the evidence I have but it is the evidence I wanted.
Same noise level, same accuracy, no wobble in the carriage. That is the only thing worth judging one of these on and it takes a year to know.
I used to pick whichever watch happened to be running and reset the other at the weekend. That has simply stopped being a thing I do.
Photographs make it look almost black. In daylight there is a proper grain to it. Pleased I did not go for the light.
No socket on that side of the room. Batteries meant it did not matter.
Set it going before bed on the first night half expecting to move it in the morning. It is still there.
My larger watch would not have gone on a fixed cushion. Being able to take one out and drop the case straight in solved it.
No notes.
Nothing wrong with the winder itself, which has been faultless. The removable cushions are a firm fit and the first time I took one out I was fairly sure I was about to break it. You are not, but a line in the instructions would have saved me ten minutes.
Fair questions
Fair. So here is the test, and it takes five seconds: look at where your watches will sit tonight. A drawer, a dish, the edge of a sink. If that is the answer, this replaces it. If they already live somewhere you chose on purpose, you probably don't need us — and we would rather say so now than take the order.
Thirty days to send it back either way.
You have already spent a good deal more than this on one of the watches. This is the least expensive thing you will ever buy that touches them every single day.
A single polish to lift drawer scratches costs more than the smallest case on this site. The maths only looks silly until something gets marked.
Possibly, right up until it is on the chest of drawers. What settles it is never the argument — it is the object. Something that reads as furniture rather than a gadget, holding things you already owned, in a room you both live in.
It stops being a purchase and starts being where the watches go.
The forums will tell you a stopped watch isn't damaged, and they are right. But that argument is about winders — nobody has ever been told off for keeping six watches from resting against each other.
The part that genuinely wears is the crown: the screw and the gasket you handle every time you reset it. Less handling, less wear. That is the whole case, and it doesn't need defending.
Buy one size up from where you are today. It costs a little more now and saves buying the whole thing again in eighteen months — which is the single most common regret people write to us about.
Every capacity is stated plainly on the page. Count what you own, then add the two you already know you want.
Thirty days to change your mind, extended over Christmas. Two years on parts and labour from the day it lands.
Monday to Friday, nine to five, a person answers — and they will tell you honestly when something is not the right fit, including when the answer is no.
Anything else — call. A person answers.
