Terms of sale

Terms of Sale

Last updated: 23 July 2026.

1. Scope and seller

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through https://zaviloo.com. The seller trades under the name Zaviloo. Full information about the publisher and operator is available in the Legal Notice.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract and are purchasing for lawful purposes. The version of these Terms displayed when the order is placed applies to that order.

2. Products and confirmed specifications

Zaviloo sells watch winders, watch boxes, watch travel cases and related watch-storage accessories. Each product page states the characteristics that Zaviloo has confirmed for that product and selected variant. Only a specification, feature, material, dimension, rotation setting, power requirement, included component or compatibility statement explicitly shown on that page is part of the product description. If information is not stated, it is not guaranteed; customers should contact Zaviloo before ordering when an unlisted measurement or feature is important to their purchase.

Images are illustrative; screen settings, lighting and natural material variation can affect appearance. Minor differences that do not alter the product’s essential characteristics are not defects. Nothing in this clause limits rights where goods are not as described.

3. Prices, tax and import charges

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). Standard shipping is free, meaning that Zaviloo adds no standard shipping charge. Free shipping does not mean that import VAT, customs duty or carrier clearance charges are included.

Zaviloo does not currently collect import VAT, customs duty or carrier clearance charges at checkout. If goods are imported into the United Kingdom, UK authorities or the carrier may request those charges before or at delivery. They are separate from the product price and free standard shipping and remain the customer’s responsibility.

The exact amount can depend on the product’s origin and classification and on the value of the consignment. It cannot currently be quoted reliably by Zaviloo before ordering. Customers who need an estimate should consult HM Revenue & Customs or their local carrier before placing an order.

4. Orders and contract formation

You can review and correct your basket before submitting payment. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order but does not require Zaviloo to accept an order affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable stock, delivery restrictions or incorrect customer information. The contract is formed when Zaviloo confirms acceptance or dispatch. If an order cannot be accepted, any amount collected will be refunded.

5. Payment

Payment is due in full at checkout using the methods displayed there. Payment services may be provided by Shopify Payments or other authorised processors. Zaviloo does not receive full payment-card details. Orders may be paused or cancelled where payment is declined or fraud screening identifies a material risk.

6. Delivery

Standard shipping is free to UK addresses made available at checkout. Possible import VAT, customs duty and carrier clearance charges are described in section 3 and are not standard shipping charges.

  • Order processing before dispatch: 1-2 working days.
  • Transit after dispatch: 4-10 working days.
  • Total estimated delivery time: 5-12 working days.

Working days exclude weekends and public holidays. Estimates may be extended by customs checks, carrier disruption, severe weather, industrial action, peak periods or other events outside reasonable control. Unless another period has been expressly agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Risk passes to the customer when the goods are physically received by the customer or a nominated person.

Further information is in the Shipping Policy.

7. Address changes and cancellation before dispatch

Contact contact@zaviloo.com immediately if an address is incorrect or you wish to cancel. Zaviloo will try to act before dispatch but cannot guarantee changes once fulfilment has started. After dispatch, the returns process applies.

8. Statutory cancellation right

For distance purchases, consumers may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days beginning on the day after the goods are received. For split deliveries, the period begins after the last item is received. To cancel, send an unambiguous statement to contact@zaviloo.com with your name, order number, address and the items concerned.

After notifying cancellation, return the goods within 14 days. The customer pays the direct return cost for a change-of-mind return. Zaviloo will refund the product price and any standard outbound delivery charge paid, using the original payment method, within 14 days after receiving the goods or receiving adequate evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first. Zaviloo may deduct for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods.

9. Extended 30-day return policy

In addition to statutory rights, Zaviloo permits eligible change-of-mind returns requested within 30 days of delivery. Goods must be complete, unused beyond reasonable inspection, undamaged and returned with original accessories and packaging where reasonably possible. The customer pays the return cost. This commercial policy does not restrict statutory rights.

10. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, contact support promptly with the order number and photographs where relevant. Zaviloo will provide an appropriate remedy under applicable law and will cover reasonable authorised return costs. Reporting transit damage within 48 hours helps investigation but does not remove statutory rights.

Where tracking shows delivery but the parcel cannot be found, first check the delivery location, household members and neighbours, then contact Zaviloo. Zaviloo will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by law.

11. Legal rights and two-year commercial warranty

UK consumers benefit from mandatory rights, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and distance-selling rules. These may include a short-term right to reject faulty goods, followed where appropriate by repair, replacement, price reduction or final rejection. French and EU statutory protections may also apply where required.

Zaviloo additionally provides a two-year commercial warranty on the watch-winder mechanism, parts and labour, beginning on delivery. It covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, unauthorised repair, misuse, incorrect power supply, abnormal wear, liquid damage or failure to follow the instructions. This warranty is additional to, and does not replace, statutory rights.

12. Returns procedure

Always contact contact@zaviloo.com before sending goods. The authorised destination may vary by product and fulfilment location. Do not send goods to the manufacturer or to the registered office without written return instructions. Unauthorised returns may be delayed. See the Refund Policy.

13. Personal data

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual property

No purchase transfers ownership of Zaviloo’s website content, branding, photographs, designs or other intellectual property.

15. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay caused by an event beyond reasonable control. Zaviloo will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and will inform affected customers where practical. Mandatory refund and cancellation rights remain unaffected.

16. Complaints and disputes

Send complaints to contact@zaviloo.com. Zaviloo will first seek an amicable resolution. Consumers retain any right to use a competent consumer dispute-resolution body and to bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under mandatory consumer law.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive a UK consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live.
