Takes a week to soften
Out of the box the leather is quite stiff and the tie wants persuading. A fortnight of use and it behaves properly.

Even the whole way round and the edges are properly finished rather than raw.

Survived a fortnight in Spain
In and out of a rucksack most days, sat on more than once, and the watch came home unmarked. The case has picked up a couple of scuffs which I would say improve it.
Snug with a bigger case
My watch is 44mm on a rubber strap and it goes in, but you have to coil the strap deliberately rather than just dropping it in. Something on a bracelet would be tighter still. Fine, just not as effortless as I had pictured.

Sat on twice, once by me. Watch unmarked both times, which a pouch would not have managed.
