Suede lining is the real thing
Beige, soft, and it has not shed a single fibre onto a strap in eight months.
Owners, on camera
If it's an automatic, yes. The cushion slips inside the closed strap or bracelet, leather or steel, and holds the watch in place as it turns.

No. It's made for the bedroom: on the bedside table, it turns without you hearing it.
Three years on parts and labor from the day it arrives. Motor faults are replaced, not repaired at your cost. Cushions and adaptors are sold separately, so a worn part does not retire the whole unit.
30-day returns, gift-boxed as standard. Mon–Fri, 9–5, a person answers. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Beyond three automatics, you start choosing which ones stay running. And the ones you don't choose are the ones you stop wearing.
With the Kensington, you stop choosing: four watches turn, ready, and six more rest just above, under the same lid. Wake up to four watches on time, not four to reset.
Four winding positions, six storage slots. Quiet motor set to 750 turns a day, with four programmes: forward, reverse, alternating, or a gentle cycle of one hour turning and nine hours' rest. Blue LED ambient light and stitched leather in eight finishes, from all black to racing green & ivory. 100–240 V: it works anywhere in the world.
For a growing collection, and for the collector you want to give a proper gift.
Made to keep these automatics wound
About Zaviloo
Zaviloo does one thing: looking after automatic watches between wears. Winders, boxes and travel cases, made in Europe, chosen for how quietly they work and how they look.
Covered for three years, with 30 days to change your mind.
Kind to the movement
An automatic is built to turn, as it does on your wrist all day. The winder simply carries on while it rests: right time, right date, and the crown left alone.
Beige, soft, and it has not shed a single fibre onto a strap in eight months.
Lift the lid and the whole collection is in front of you. I had not appreciated how much time I lost opening three different things.
Most cases at this level wind two and store the rest. I have six automatics and was tired of deciding which pair got to stay running. Four positions plus six slots covers the lot in one lid.
Eight months and the corners have started to soften rather than scuff. It looks better than it did new.
You can pick it up by one corner with ten watches in it and nothing shifts or creaks.
I genuinely expected four winding positions to make four times the noise. It does not, and I sleep in the same room.
Thirty centimetres across and twenty-three deep is more than it looks in a photograph. It did not fit the shelf I had in mind and now lives on a chest of drawers. Lovely thing, just measure before you order.
Three of my four sit exactly right on it. The fourth is a vintage piece that I hand wind anyway, so in practice it has never come up.
It is a substantial thing and the lid comes with it. Nothing wrong with that, but it wants two hands the first few times and I was more careful than I needed to be.
Replaced a winder and two separate boxes. The desk looks considerably less like a shop counter now.
The winding side is excellent and I have no criticism of it. The six storage compartments are a little shallow for my thickest diver, which sits proud enough that the lid presses on it. My other watches are all fine, so it is one watch out of ten, but I noticed.
Does what I hoped.
Two of mine are on bracelets and go on without a fight, which was not the case with the box this replaced.
Before you order
No. An automatic movement is built to turn: that is exactly what your wrist does all day. Once the mainspring is fully wound, a slipping mechanism stops it being wound any further.
What really wears is the crown, which you handle every time you reset the watch. With a winder, you leave it alone.
No. Slip the cushion inside the closed strap, set it in place and switch it on. Where the model has settings, the standard one suits most automatics.

Set it against the price of the watch it keeps running: it's the least expensive thing that looks after it every day.
Without it, every reset means handling the crown, winding the date on and losing a few minutes in the morning. It does that for you, every night.
If they love automatic watches, yes. It's the present they've been putting off for months and never buy themselves: it feels too indulgent to pay for.
They'll see it turning every evening, and every morning their watch will be waiting, on time. Not sure about their watch? Send us the reference and we'll tell you if it fits.
Buy one place more than you need today. It costs a little more now and saves buying the whole thing again in eighteen months.
Count the automatics you rotate, then add the one you already know you want.
